After the last World Cup, I asked whether I was going to be the last commentator on this site, and the answer was an unequivocal “no.”
As the most experienced sports commentator in the country, I know what it’s like to watch soccer.
That’s why I’m thrilled to be joining ESPN for this special episode, as we take you inside the locker room and into the tunnel as the hosts and analysts take a closer look at the 2014 World Cup.
And, of course, this is a one-hour episode, so you can expect the same analysis that I do every week.
So, sit back, enjoy the show, and remember, when the World Cup starts next month, it will be a different time.
This show is produced by Michael O’Brien, with help from Matthew McConaughey, Jeff Zucker, and Adam Goldberg.
Special thanks to Jim McBride, Kevin C. Cox, Chris Rumph, Tom Reuter, and Michael A. Johnson for their work on this episode.
