The field will be home to the USA’s first ever women’s soccer team, which has won the Women’s World Cup four times in the past.
The women’s team will have a record-breaking attendance of 18,000, according to USA Today.
The new stadium will open in 2020 and will be operated by the USA Soccer Federation.
